STANDARD PROGRAM LEVEL CHECK

Not sure what level you should enrol in? Use the level check description below as a guideline.
Beginner
- You have never studied Indonesian before; or
- You have studied Indonesian for less than 20 hours and need a refresher course.
Intermediate
- You have studied Indonesian for 40 hours (classroom-based) or 20 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have completed Book 1 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
Advanced
- You have studied Indonesian for 80 hours (classroom-based) or 40 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have completed Book 2 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
- This level is also suitable for people who have completed their Advanced course in Indonesian and want a refresher course to further polish their Indonesian language skills.
LITE PROGRAM LEVEL CHECK
Beginner 1
- You have never studied Indonesian before.
Beginner 2
- You have studied Indonesian for 20 hours (classroom-based) or 10 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have studied several chapters from Book 1 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
- This level is also suitable for people who have completed their Beginner course in Indonesian and want a refresher course before continuing their study.
Intermediate 1
- You have studied Indonesian for 40 hours (classroom-based) or 20 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have completed Book 1 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
Intermediate 2
- You have studied Indonesian for 60 hours (classroom-based) or 30 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have studied several chapters from Book 2 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
Advanced 1
- You have studied Indonesian for 80 hours (classroom-based) or 40 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have completed Book 2 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
Advanced 2
- You have studied Indonesian for 100 hours (classroom-based) or 50 hours (1-on-1 lessons); or
- You have completed Book 3 of Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia or Ayo Berbahasa Indonesia.
- This level is also suitable for people who have completed their Advanced course in Indonesian and want a refresher course to further polish their Indonesian language skills.
